Bai Tu Long Bay features 3,000 rocky, sky–craping islets and white sand beaches, renowned as one of Vietnam's most primitive and fascinating destinations. Bai Tu Long Bay and its islands are still relatively undeveloped due to their low population. Nonetheless, Bai Tu Long Bay's natural and raw beauty makes it more gorgeous, appealing and mesmerized than its neighbor, Ha Long Bay.
Bai Tu Long Bay shares the same legend as Halong Bay. God sent mother dragons and child dragons down to help the Vietnamese people fight the enemy once upon a time to safeguard the ancient Vietnam frontier from invaders. When the enemy's boats approached the shore, the dragons sprayed thousands of pearls, which changed into thousands of limestone, forming a thick wall that obstructed the invaders' path. The dragons decided to stay in Vietnam after their victory, having fallen in love with the beautiful scenery and friendly people. The white foam layers created by the dragons' tails hitting the water later produced white sand beaches near Bai Tu Long Bay.
Bai Tu Long Bay is made up of a series of islands that were formed when the entire limestone hillside sank below sea level. Its awe-inspiring and spectacular beauty can not be denied. Beautiful natural scenery can be found in this location. A large portion of this landscape remains undiscovered. When you visit Bai Tu Long Bay, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of interesting places, including the Cong Do region, Vung Vieng fishing village, Da Xep Park, Cong Dam area, Thien Canh Son Cave, and Tra Gioi beach. In addition, the largest, most developed, most inhabited islands are Quan Lan, Ngoc Vung, Cong Dong, and Cong Tay, where you may rest on their magnificent beaches. Bai Tu Long Bay's national park is a distinctive feature. This location is highly worth visiting since it is home to a variety of endangered birds, animals, and plants.
Kayaking is one of the best ways to enjoy your time in Bai Tu Long Bay. This is an excellent way to have a close look at the charming, colorful islets and to observe the lives of the people who live in the floating hamlet. The gorgeous beaches surrounding the bay are undoubtedly ideal for those who enjoy swimming.
