Hue, the former capital of the Nguyen Dynasty with numerous appealing attractions, is located on the banks of the poetic Perfume River (Huong River). Hue is famed for its temples, tombs, and palaces, many of which served as residences and places of worship for Nguyen-era emperors, such as the Hue Imperial Citadel, Tu Duc Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb, and others.
