From the outside of the Hanoi Opera House, you can view a large mansion with special and unique architecture built in the French style. Numerous events are held at the Opera House, including local Vietnamese opera, traditional opera, traditional folk music, ballets, and many international concerts.
In addition, numerous well-known musicians have performed in the House, including violinist Hilary Hahn, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, pianist Wolfgang Glemser, and conductor Gudri Emilsson.
