Charming Mui Ne

Welcome to Vietnam! From Ho Chi Minh City, we head to the station for the day train to Phan Thiet, Mui Ne. Check into hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

In the morning, you have breakfast at the resort. Afterwards, it is free time for swimming and sunbathing or joining the fishing tour early in the morning (at own expense). In the afternoon, joining a half day tour (included) by visiting a fishing village (seasonal), the White and Yellow sand dunes which are top attractions in Mui Ne.

A small stand of pine trees sitting on the bank of the lake (Bàu Trắng) overlooking the sand dunes makes a popular spot for photo-snapping. Returning back to the resort and have dinner. Staying overnight in Mui Ne.

Free day for swimming and sunbathing.

Today, you will leave Mui Ne after breakfast and drive back to Saigon. The rest time, you can take a short tour to visit some interesting destinations of this city as the Notre Dame, the City Central Post Office, the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace, previously known as the Residence of the former Southern President.

Then, coming back to the hotel and you will have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.

After breakfast at hotel, car and tour guides will welcome you and depart for the Mekong Delta. On arrival in My Tho, you will visit the famous fish farm on a private boat in the Mekong River. Then, our local guide will take you to visit an island with lush tropical gardens where we have a chance to sample tropical fruits.

Continuing to another island in the Mekong Delta we learn more about another cottage industry, coconut candy.

At noon, you will stop and have lunch at the Con Phung, a river landscape in the province of Ben Tre. After a break, you continue to visit the facility made art pottery. You also have the opportunity to visit honey kilns on small boats to enjoy the taste of fruit and honey. Simultaneously, you also have a chance to listen to Reform, a distinctive culture of the South.

In addition, you also get to visit coconut candy oven by boats to understand the process of native coconut candy. Towards the end of the day, we return to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

After breakfast, tour guides pick you up and start the visit to the Cu Chi tunnels. After a 2-hour bus ride, you will reach the Ben Dinh tunnels (original tunnel system), where you can see the network of interconnecting tunnels in the ground, then you explore the environment in which guerrillas had lived and fought in the very small and long tunnels.

Our tour guide will explain everything about the image of Vietnamese people in the war against the United States. Next, you see the documentary about the war .. You can try shooting within the practical area. Following our step back into modern history we return to the chaos of Ho Chi Minh City.

Your South Vietnam Getaway adventure ends upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh at around 2:00 pm.
