If you visit Hanoi in the summer, the heat may make you feel uneasy and make you want to do or eat nothing. You can even spend the entire day in your room drinking beer or soft beverages. I'd go with "Bun Rieu" if I were you. It's a one-of-a-kind summer dish with a slightly sour flavor that Vietnamese people adore. Find out everything there is to know about Bun Rieu right now.
Bun Rieu Hanoi overview
Bun Rieu is a typical Hanoi dish that is well-known both in Vietnam and around the world. Bun Rieu comes in numerous varieties in Vietnam, including Bun Rieu Cua (field crab), Bun Rieu Bo (beef), Bun Rieu Oc (snail), and Bun Rieu Ca (fish). The Bun Rieu Cua is the most notable (crab). Due to its fresh flavor, Bun Rieu has become one of the most popular summer foods in Vietnam.

Bun Rieu is best served hot, shrimp paste, lemon, chutney, with fried tofu, garlic, and herbs like lettuce, cilantro, water spinach, and fresh mung bean sprouts. These simple components have a fatty and sour taste to them.
Bun Rieu can be found all around Vietnam. However, each region's Bun Rieu varies to suit the tastes of that region. The Bun Rieu shown above is typical of the North; however, in the South, it will include snails, pig's blood, tamarind, and chili satay.
