Banh Xeo (Mekong Delta pancake) is a sort of Vietnamese fried pancake made of flour, water, turmeric powder, eggs, and a variety of fillings. This meal has various variations around the country, the most famous of which is Banh Xeo in Saigon, Mekong Delta.
Banh Xeo's thin crust appears simple, but the chef must be very careful not to shatter it. The thin, crunchy taste of the Mekong Delta pancake is one of its most appealing features. When you eat this meal, the bits of banh xeo will melt in your mouth. Bean sprouts, ear mushrooms, minced pork, vegetables, and minced pork are frequently found inside. Sweet fish sauce, fresh vegetables and herbs, garlic, pepper, or even grilled meat or Nem Lui are common accompaniments.
A golden crispy cover with hot ingredients within, coupled with local veggies and herbs, dipped in a sweet and sour fish sauce, a huge bite of Banh Xeo will be a memorable feast of sensations in your mouth.
