Cao Dai Temple (Toa Thanh or Divine Temple) is one of the important and admired contributions of Vietnam to the world has been the religion Caodaism. Caodaista, which incorporates elements from Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, and other religions, is one of Vietnam's contributions to the world.
The Cao Dai temple in Tay Ninh, also known as Toa Thanh or Divine Temple, is the largest of the Caodista churches. It began construction in 1927 and was completed in 1955, after many years of delays caused by financial and political issues. Cao Dai Temple is an intriguing and one-of-a-kind architectural structure, with a blend of Asian and European influences. Its facade is notable for its vibrant colors and roof designs.
Cao Dai Temple covers a total area of 100 hectares. The entire complex is enclosed by a fence with 12 gates that guard it. The largest of all doors is usually closed and only opened to allow leaders and public figures to pass through.
The Cao Dai Temple measures 140 meters in length, 40 meters in width, and 36 meters in height. Supported by 112 circular pillars, the runner can be seen from the outside. Tam Dai, Hiep Thien Dai, Cuu Trung Dai, and Bat Quai Dai are the four towers that make up the structure.
The construction of the Cao Dai churches reflects the syncretic religion's tenets; the two belfries, for example, are unique to Christianity. The statue of Maitreya Buddha in the Lotus pose may be found at the top of the main façade. Chinese architecture and Hinduism are both known for their crimson shingles and pointy roofs.
