Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace Cave) is regarded as Halong Bay's most gorgeous original grotto, with a complex interior formation, numerous floors and high ceilings. The Thien Cung Cave is situated on the island of Dau Go and makes visitors feel like they are in a heavenly world.
Thien Cung Cave's gate is positioned in the midst of the mountain, requiring extra effort from visitors to hike up here. The 130-meter-long girth of the cave opens out after passing through a tight gate. A big expanse inside the cave will surprise you, and the deeper you walk, the more exquisite stalactite formations will appear before your eyes.
Thien Cung Cave is 25 meters above sea level. Tourists that visit the cave will be transported to an art gallery, complete with a range of sophisticated statues and reliefs. Four large pillars support the roof at the grotto's middle. A vast and powerful painting depicting characters from legends may be found on the cave's east wall.
A group of fairies appears to be dancing and singing in celebration of the wedding on the cave's north wall. Stalagmites form a natural stone barrier beneath the impossibly high roof. The sound of a drum is heard elsewhere, but it is actually wind flowing through stone.
When you reach the cave's heart, use your imagination to conjure up images of fish schools, flocks of birds, and people going about their everyday lives from a massive natural rock pillar, all of which have been naturally sculpted by stalactites.
Amazing rows of stalagmites drooping through millions of years above your head on the roof of Thien Cung Cave, creating beautiful pictures and melodies thanks to the light and wind flowing within the grotto.
It takes around an hour to discover the Thien Cung Cave, and there are no facility to help people who are having difficulty climbing.
