Soi Sim is a small land island with two peaks that are about 100 meters high and the slope is gentle to the southwest in the middle. It is located in the west of Halong Bay, about 6.5 sea miles from Tuan Chau Island and close to Titov Island.
Soi Sim has an area of about 8.7 hectares. The island has a special geological structure with 2/3 of the area covered by Feralit soil and weathered soil.
