Tourists should not overlook capturing great images at one of Hanoi's famous photogenic sites, with their breathtaking natural settings, because the city has many attractions with romantic charm.
Hoan Kiem Lake, with green trees around the lake and red-colored The Huc Bridge and Turtle Tower floating in the middle of it, is the most stunning spot to visit if travelers wish to experience Hanoi's serene, gentle beauty. When the sun sets, the lights on the trees will twinkle solely for photographers to capture such a special moment as the sky turns twilight. In the autumn, Hoan Kiem Lake takes on a unique beauty, with cool gusts and the scent of dry leaves mingling with the lake and land. This is also the time of year when the red Loc Vung trees droop on the lake's surface. Everything comes together to create a vibrantly colorful backdrop for pictures.
2. Hanoi West Lake
Hanoi West Lake is another great place to photograph, and the best time to go is in the summer when the vivid lotuses paint a corner of the sky with vibrant pink and fresh green. Tourists will see lovely girls wearing all kinds of attire, from mini skirts to the traditional dress, "ao dai," if they continue straight on West Lake's lakefront route, causing the lotus pond to become continually lively. There is also a firm that rents out equipment for picture sessions, such as tiny boats, lotus bouquets, and "Yem" (a unique old Vietnamese bodice) at low prices. Tourists can visit a local house to see the process of making lotus-scented tea, in addition to snapping photographs.
3. Imperial Citadel of Thang Long
The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is regarded as one of Vietnam's most important relics. It was built and enlarged during the Ly, Tran, Le, and Nguyen dynasties. However, it had been severely destroyed during several battles. Thang Long Royal Citadel was renovated in the twenty-first century, and it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. With the magnificence of the North Gate and the Hanoi Flag Tower, you will be transported to the old world when visiting Thang Long Royal Citadel. Doan Mon Gate may be photographed from both the front and back. With the recognizable image of young girls in Ao Dai, the photo style is classic and traditional.
The citadel is over a kilometer away from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the historic vestige's main gate is on Hoang Dieu Street.
4. Long Bien Bridge
Long Bien Bridge is a must-see attraction for travelers, not only because it is a living historical relic but also because of its magnificent architecture, created by French architects Daydé & Pillé. Photographers come here on a daily basis to capture history in their images, with the rust screws from the remaining spans displaying the classic antique brown of the past. During the dry season, the alluvial region beneath the bridge transforms into a stunning natural sight, complete with rows of green banana trees and golden corn.
5. Some peaceful streets
Three streets ring the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long: Hoang Dieu, Phan Dinh Phung, and Dien Bien Phu. They are known for their shady, long-lined trees and tranquil, quiet areas, which are hard to come by in urban Hanoi. The best time to photograph here is early in the morning, when the light is rising and everything is still wet. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, come here around August as the leaves begin to turn golden and fall.
If Hoang Dieu, Phan Dinh Phung, and Dien Bien Phu are Hanoi's most beautiful streets, Kim Ma is the city's most romantic. Each season brings out a new aspect of its beauty. Every day, a large number of young people and couples flock to the street to take photographs.
