Bun Ca overview
Vietnamese Bun Ca (Vietnamese Fish Noodle Soup) is one of Vietnam's most well-known speciality foods. Soft noodles, a rich sweet and sour broth, and bits of crispy fried fish combine to produce a delicious dish that many people crave.
Bun Ca is also prepared in a variety of ways depending on the location, giving it a distinct and varied flavor. Bun Ca, however, has the same fundamental ingredients regardless of how it is prepared.
Bun Ca (Fish Noodle Soup) comprises not just fresh fish but also other sorts of fish such as termites, mackerel, and barracuda, despite its name. Without using borax or adding other forms of flour, the sort of fish ball created from fresh fish would be tough and soft.
Bun Ca ingredients
Vermicelli, fish, and grilled fish are the major ingredients in a bowl of Bun Ca. Fried fish cakes and steamed fish cakes are the two forms of fish cakes. Fried fish, on the other hand, is more commonly sold, and diners prefer this form of spring roll.
Vermicelli is commonly referred to as rice vermicelli, although it is presented and prepared in a more sophisticated manner. People refer to these as "leaf noodles" since they are placed in a circular pattern on a banana leaf.
Bun Ca is generally accompanied by raw vegetables, herbs, bean sprouts, spring onions, a few green onions, tomato slices, pepper, chile, and chili garlic sauce to add flavor. Bun Ca is frequently served alongside pickled fish.
