Bach Ma National Park, a dream destination for wildlife, history, and photography enthusiasts, is one of the most outstanding national parks in Vietnam. Bach Ma National Park trekking tour is also a wonderful experience to try when you go to Hue.
Bach Ma Mountain, at 1,450 meters, is the highest point in this national park. Because of the mild environment, the French erected over a hundred villas here. The national park was expanded in 2008, stretching from the coast to the Annamite mountain chain near the Laos border. This park is known for its biodiversity, with a diverse range of habitats. Some even believe Bach Ma National Park to be the focal point of Vietnam's flora diversity. Bach Ma National Park proudly represents a fifth of Vietnam's flora, with over 1400 types of plants, including orchids and ferns, discovered here.
When you arrive at the Bach Ma National Park center, you will be given a tour of the park before being transported to the mountain's summit, which is 20 kilometers away. Upon reaching the summit, you will climb to Hai Vong Dai and be treated to a breathtaking view of Lang Co Beach and Cau Hai Lagoon. On a cool day, the summit is engulfed in clouds, creating a wonderland. You may observe a flower garden with many types of flowers at Bach Ma.
After that, you keep strolling and trekking through the forest on a route to reach Five Lake, where you can swim in these lovely pools of pure water. In contrast to the metropolis, the climate in Bach Ma National Park and Five Lake is cool, which attracts visitors. After that, continue walking to Do Quyen waterfall, where the same-named flower grows in the stream beneath the waterfall, making Bach Ma beautiful. The best time to visit this park is in February, when the famed Rhododendron simsii blooms along the little streams and at the base of Do Quyen waterfall. The weather is likewise pleasant, with a pleasant temperature. Trek up and down 700 stairs on foot to admire the entire fall as silver water cascades from the cliff's edge. In Bach Ma National Park, it is a must-see attraction.
Bach Ma National Park generally is a wonderful and refreshing change from the touristy Hue or Hoi An, and visitors will regret not spending more time here.
