The rice terraces are one of the nicest things to contemplate in Sapa, and they are the main reason why many people come here. Travel & Leisure magazine in the United States named Sapa's terraced rice fields one of Asia's and the world's seven most beautiful and spectacular scenery.
Rice terraces in Sapa are a series of slopes in hilly or mountainous terrain that go from the foot of the mountains, one after the other. The terraced rice fields resemble a painting, and the color changes with the seasons. When the locals water the fields in April and May, it resembles a mirror. When the paddy rice is fully grown in June and July, the hue turns green. All of the rice is ready between September and October, and the terraced fields have a golden hue.
Sapa is not only a great place to visit in the summer, but it also draws visitors who come to see the beautiful grandeur of terraced rice fields in the hilly hills. Local ethnic minority groups produce rice and create beautiful terraced rice fields thanks to the steep terrain and fertile soil. We highly recommend trekking these rice fields, where you may learn about local traditions while also admiring and photographing the gorgeous and amazing nature. From afar, these terraced rice fields present a stunning picture of nature with a captivating beauty that entices visitors to linger for a while. Seasonally, the hue shifts from enticing attractiveness at the start of fresh crops to golden maturing rice as it approaches harvest.
Trekking is one of the greatest ways to see Sapa. It is inexpensive, yet it provides the greatest Sapa experience. Sapa has long been recognized in Vietnam for its natural...
