2. We are aware that a good tour must have good hotels. In Vietnam, hotel prices make up the major expense of your holiday. Therefore, we would like to clarify how we define these charges:
Boutique & character hotels from US$ 50- US$ 80 per room/night (highly recommended)
First Class = 3 star hotels from US$ 40 - US$ 60 per room/night
Superior = 4 star hotels from US$ 80 - US$ 110 per room/night
Deluxe = 5 star hotels from US$120 - US$ 180++ per room/night
3. Tour prices are based on sharing a half twin roon at selected hotels. Tour prices are a guideline only, please contact us for a detailed quotation. We will get back to you shortly.
4. More people = lower prices. Please ask for a quote based on your group size.
5. The above rates do NOT include "peak season" hotel surcharges, nor the charge for any compulsory festive gala dinners. Please email us to check availability, together with the cost of any "peak season" surcharges if applicable.
6. Child under 2 years old are free of charge for tour & pay 50% of internal airline charges, from 2 to 5 years old 50% charge for tour & 75% of internal airline charges, from 5 to 12 years old 75% for tour & full internal airline charges. 12 years and older = 100% (charged as an adult).

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, private car and tour guide will pick you up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and then transfer you to hotel for check in (the rooms are at your disposal from 14:00). Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 6 pm today. You can arrive at any time during the day as there are no activities planned until this important meeting. Please check with hotel reception or look on the reception noticeboard for where and when the meeting will take place. If you're going to be late, please inform the hotel reception or your booking agent in advance. We'll be collecting your insurance details and next of kin information at this meeting, so please ensure you have all these details to provide to your leader.
Notes: An arrival transfer is included. In order to book this service please provide your booking agent with your flight details at least 2 weeks prior to your departure. If you can't arrange a flight that will have you arrive at the hotel in time for the meeting, you may wish to arrive a day early so you're able to attend. We'll be happy to book additional accommodation for you (subject to availability).

On the way to reach to Hoi An, you will have time to relax in My Khe beach, one of the most ideal beach of Da Nang City, where you can find all convalescence and relaxation you need. Being there, you also can contemplate the Marble Mountains before heading up to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Immerse yourself in the tranquility and charm of this sleepy riverside town. From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoian was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders, who came to trade in the high quality silk still produced in the region.
Today, Hoian is a relaxing resort popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, skilled tailors and numerous cafes. Take a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. After lunch, take a short boat trip to a nearby island and visit a handicraft village specializing in ceramics. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy a free evening at your leisure. Today, you will have an early flight to Hanoi, charming capital of Vietnam. When you arrive at the airport, a private tour guide will pick you up and escort you to hotel in center city. Relaxing for a while and you will have the whole day to explore the beauty of Hanoi. The first place you should visit is Hanoi Old Quarter, an important part of history and development of the city located between the Royal Citadel and the bank of the Red River. You can enjoy free time at leisure to explore, take photos, buy souvenirs such as: silk clothing, embroidered linens, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects...
Then, you can visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature (the first University of Vietnam), Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake, which are the most attractive destinations with everyone coming Hanoi. after enjoying Vietnamese food lunch in a nice local restaurant your journey will continue with a visit to the most famous and interesting Museum of Hanoi - the Museum of Ethnology. In the evening, you can have chance to attend a unique water puppetry show before coming back hotel to relax.
Drive for four and a half hours to the famous Halong Bay, one of Vietnam's most spectacular natural wonders. We recommend leaving your luggage at the hotel in Hanoi and packing a small overnight bag for the trip to Halong Bay. Once you arrive at the bay, you’ll take a long and luxurious cruise through the area, exploring the beautiful green waters and amazing limestone caves. Weather permitting, you can also go for a swim. You’ll enjoy delicious meals of seafood while on board, and spend the night on the boat. You may also have the chance to do some kayaking while on Halong Bay (at your own expense).
Notes: There are only limited numbers of cabins on each boat and all accommodation is twin-share, so the single supplement does not apply on the Halong Bay cruise. All twin-share cabins have en suite facilities and air-conditioning. Due to recent unforeseen late changes by local authorities in Halong Bay, a large proportion of boats are now no longer permitted to stay overnight. To ensure we can accommodate all Intrepid travellers on overnight boats we occasionally use a larger boat (approximately 12 cabins) and split our groups across different boats. The route and inclusions will remain the same, and an Intrepid group leader will be present on each boat. Your leader will discuss the option for swimming from Ti Tip Island beach during the warmer months. Swimming in the bay from the boats is not permitted.
After breakfast on board, you will take a 3.5-hour drive back to Hanoi. The rest of the day will be your free time to explore Hanoi by your own way. You can take a bike tour around West lake or just wander along the street and taste some delicious dishes or special dinks like Egg coffee,...Overnight in Hanoi.
Your trip comes to an end today. There are no activities planned and you are able to depart the accommodation at any time. Please check the ‘Finishing Point Hotel' section for checkout times and luggage storage possibilities.
