Truong An Golf Company is managing the Stone Valley Golf Resort, which will be their first course in Vietnam. The par-72 course has TifEagle greens and Celebration Bermuda grass fairways and tees, and measures 7,280 yards from the back tees. The nearly 200-hectare site, which has served as the backdrop for movies like King Kong, is located in an area famed for river cruises that meander through valleys between enormous, forested hillsides. Every hole offers stunning views of the location. The final holes offer breathtaking vistas of interior lakes that resemble Ha Long Bay.

There are numerous low-flow stream networks and sizable lakes on Stone Valley Golf Resort's front nine. Rocks with sharp edges that resemble lava fields have been exposed in certain holes. These rocky regions are involved in holes 6, 7, and 8. The driveable par-four seventh hole necessitates navigating a sizable field of rocks before launching the ball into a speed slot fairway that leads to the green. The latter has a striking 1.5-meter drop to a bowled-out lobe at the back.

The greatest and most dramatic holes are found on the back nine of Stone Valley Golf Course. These include the fourteenth hole's short par 4, which requires players to navigate not one, but two sizable ridges in order to reach the green and landing area. The Stone Valley Golf Resort crescendos with its last four holes, which are played from the highest heights and offer vistas of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

The par-3 fifteenth hole of Stone Valley Golf Course has a helpful kick-slope at the back that directs balls to the pin and a highly dramatic green contour. The clubhouse may be seen in the background of the first drop shot on hole sixteen. The hole then turns right and leads to a fall-away green with a strong backslope to contain shots. The par-3 seventeenth and the lengthy par-four eighteenth holes circumnavigate the original quarry site and provide breathtaking views of the high mountain panoramas, contrasting turf, sand, rock, water, marsh, and natural outcrop backgrounds.

The amenities at Stone Valley Golf Resort are top-notch, and the major focal point is a sizable clubhouse with a view of the front nine. As one would anticipate from a private members' club, there are locker rooms. Although the restaurant's food choices may be improved, it is more than properly stocked with cool beer and Vietnamese cuisine. Despite little English being spoken, the caddie service is superb.

There are no other golf courses in Hanoi like Stone Valley Golf Resort. Stone Valley is a no-brainer to include for every golfer visiting Hanoi because the scenery alone makes it worth the drive, and it also offers a great round of golf and a first-rate clubhouse.
