A beautiful golf course is located outside of Hanoi at Heron Lake. True to its name, the Heron Lake course is surrounded by natural areas, and the majority of golfers will frequently see native heron birds while playing there. The Hanoi golf course was created by the same architects who worked on Thailand's Kings Island and Black Mountain. It uses water on most holes and has substantial greenside bunkering. The most recent Paspalum grass imported from Australia, the turf, makes hitting off both rough and fairway sections not too difficult. The clubhouse is modern in design and has an international restaurant in addition to complete locker/changing rooms.
