The National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam is often at the top of the list of most visited museums in Nha Trang. A significant exhibit of local marine life, including over 20,000 living and preserved marine specimens, is on display at the museum.
When you visit the Museum of Oceanography, you will see a vast variety of colorful fish, sea horses, sharks, turtles, and even uncommon indigenous aquatic critters. There are also preserved fossils, animal skeletons, local boats, and fishing artifacts on display. The skeleton of a humpback whale, which measures 18 meters in length and weighs 18,000 kilograms, is one of the museum's centerpieces. The museum is around a 10-minute drive from Tran Phu Beach and costs less than two dollars to enter.
