Going fishing for squid in Halong Bay is a fun sport that gives visitors a taste of what it's like to be a fisherman. Tourists will learn how to catch squid in the sea from local fishermen or crew on board.
The most interesting pastime and fantastic delight of the night cruise on Halong Bay is night squid fishing. Tourists are given fishing rods and tennis racquets to use in order to actively catch squid. Tourists must be ecstatic to watch shoals of light-drunken squids leisurely hovering around; and, step by step, each squid is seduced and snatched up, remaining completely fresh and convulsively straining. It is common to witness enormous shoals of squids surrounding the cruiser during the squid peak season in October and November, and each tourist may catch several squids on each squid fishing night.
The squids captured will be utilized to prepare tourist delicacies. It's also a great time to visit Halong Bay at night. Reflected light from cruise ships docked in the bay glistens on the water's surface. Foreign tourists adore cooked whole squids because they may enjoy the unique sensation of an ink line breaking out pitch-black in the mouth, pouring all over the face, and prompting photo opportunities. Tourists eat while dancing and singing Karaoke. Everyone becomes enthused singers and dancers when alcohol yeast is present.
