Things to see on a Halong Bay cruise trip

Itinerary 1: 2 days 1 night tour

Your Halonng Bay cruise will begin at noon on the first day, and lunch will be served as the ship sets sail.

You may have the opportunity to visit Luon Cave, Human Head Island, Turtle Island, and Heaven Gate Island in the afternoon. Tourists can also participate in exciting kayaking or swimming activities at one of the stops. However, depending on the tour package you select, there may be a minor additional price.

When tourists return to the cruise after a long day, they will be greeted with further soothing activities such as massages, Jacuzzi (for luxury cruises), and a great dinner on board. Many ships also provide cooking demonstrations in which you may learn how to prepare Vietnamese cuisine. Some cruise lines provide an outdoor BBQ party on the sundeck for passengers, which is a fun opportunity to spend time with friends and family. After that, you have the option of staying at the bar with a wide selection of fine wines, playing cards with friends, watching TV, or going squid fishing.

When you wake up the following morning, your breakfast will be served with a Tai Chi lesson on the sun deck earlier in the morning to get into the natural environment. On the second day, you will see more notable places of interest, such as the Sung Sot Grotto (Surprise Cave) or Titop Island. The full tour ends with a journey back to the port, so don't forget to capture some good photos of the bay.

Itinerary 2: 3 days 2 nights tour

Your cruise vacation begins with a brief presentation regarding the route and safety precautions on board, similar to the prior itinerary. The journey normally begins between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m., allowing you to have a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay.

The boat continues sailing around the bay until it reaches a popular tourist attraction in Halong Bay, such as Titop Island, Turtle Island, or Heaven Gate Island, where it anchors for the night. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy water sports and activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking in the bay's beautiful waters. Depending on your trip, you may be able to attend a BBQ party on the beach, on the sundeck, or in the onboard restaurant.

The tour begins the next day with an early morning Tai Chi class and brunch. You have the entire morning to explore the bay's other attractions, and most cruises will transfer you to a smaller day boat so that you can travel down the bay's more limited course. You can spend the remainder of the day enjoying the water with your friends and family. When you return, a magnificent dinner will be waiting for you.

After breakfast, you will frequently be able to glimpse Surprise Cave on the third day. Brunch will be served while the ship returns to the harbor at a leisurely pace.
